Six institutions from the findaWEALTHMANAGER panel have won our first People’s Choice Awards. Here, Co-Founder Lee Goggin names the winners and explains why these gongs are important.
As Co-Founder, I’m delighted to announce that findaWEALTHMANAGER has crowned six wealth managers for outstanding client service in our inaugural People’s Choice Awards.
After a rigorous judging process, Blu Family Office, Brown Shipley, Cazenove Capital, James Hambro & Partners, Seven Investment Management and Smith & Williamson emerged victorious from a very strong field of 35 leading wealth managers. Our six winners – which include both large and smaller firms, venerable brands and newer entrants – demonstrate the range of providers really going above and beyond in their service standards today.
In assessing the wealth managers, we drew together extensive client feedback and proprietary performance data concerning every element of relationships. This included how well firms handle things initially, like matching investors to advisors and onboarding them speedily, through to the quality of their ongoing communications and how long partnerships tend to last.
The voice of clients themselves
We believe our Awards stand apart for representing the voice of those who matter most – clients themselves – and give the findaWEALTHMANAGER team the chance to recognise the institutions we regularly get exceptional feedback about. All the wealth managers we choose to work with excel at service, and are committed to better-value fees, but the willingness of some institutions and advisers to really go the extra mile for clients continues to be a pleasant surprise.
Choosing this year’s winners was still a really difficult task and we are already gathering information for next year’s Awards, so I’d like to encourage all of our users to get in touch with any feedback they might have from their dealings with wealth managers – good or bad.
Who knows, your praise might help make another provider a “People’s Choice” winner next year. Or, if your experience has been less than ideal, waste no time in telling us about it and starting your search for a better-matched wealth manager. As our Guide to changing wealth manager explains, achieving a better partnership really is easier, quicker and more hassle-free than you might think.
